Contradictions & Complementary, a Convergence (C3)
How about contradictions and complementing converge? Does it create chaos? Does it have more conflicts? Where does it head to?
A decade and a half ago, when we (myself & my wife) joined together for the next phase of our journey with lots of affection, ambitions, and anxiety. We discuss and follow on some unwritten protocols to conclude and take things forward. We admire each other on the skills that we possess.
One has life skills of fairness to openness and think out of the box with the ability to learn from travel experiences. The other has deeply, inside looking on details of execution. The change in the role does come into play as well. The fineness of role rotation aided in improving the skills that one possess and learning a few as well.
I admire my wife for her ability to communicate. She has a passion for language. Her love and joy for learning languages drives her to success. While she enjoys herself on reading, writing & improving vocabulary, I enjoy with numbers. When a vehicle passes on my way, I sum up the digits quickly in the number plate to a single figure with the trick of number 9.
In bringing our children, my better half shares her story of how she was brought up. In her early childhood days, how her dad commanded about the reading newspaper, learn the words and more importantly practising them. She talks about the 80's strict father becoming stick father to ensure discipline in learning.
On the flip side of the coin, I share my experience of my parents who enforced the discipline in learning of connecting with math & science. The Math & Science learning is about understanding the logic, solving the puzzle, playfully work with the numbers. The science magazines and puzzle books brought by our dad from the garage sale provided a base for our inquisitiveness.
The way both of us were brought up, had few common points such as the emphasis on learning, enforcement of discipline, enjoyment of living the life.
The convergence of two schools of thoughts, English vocabulary Vs math puzzle, travel experiences vs practical experiments provided a common platform to connect and bounce the ideas for leading a better life.
The convergence of contradictions and complementing will succeed only through openness, listening to each other and learning the best out of it.

The last line has some typos. Insignificant though.
